He is a frequent national and state lecturer on the liability risks faced by local governments and, for over 20 years, has authored the weekly newspaper column “In Federal Courts”, for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.

And John J. Timbo has defended Illinois public officials in federal and state litigation for over 15 years after having worked for the Boston Police Department’s Office of the Legal Advisor while attending law school.
