Biography
Allison joined The Sotos Law Firm in 2023 and represents government agencies and police officers in both state and federal court. Prior to joining the firm, Allison worked at the City of Chicago as an Assistant Corporation Counsel and Assistant Corporation Counsel Supervisor, where she defended the City of Chicago and Chicago Police Officers in all aspects of state and federal civil rights cases. Allison has over ten years of experience in litigation, including negotiating settlements on behalf of her clients, and successfully defending her clients through motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and at trial. Allison graduated from Purdue University with Honors in 2009 and earned her law degree from The John Marshall Law School (n/k/a University of Illinois John Marshall Law School) with a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. Allison is admitted to practice in Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Ohio, and the District of Columbia.
