Biography

Morgan earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2021. While in law school, she served as a law clerk with the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office and was a member of the Barristers’ Council and the Mock Trial National Team. She began her legal career as an Assistant City Attorney with the Denver City Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted a broad range of municipal ordinance violations, including domestic violence cases. In that role, she gained substantial courtroom experience, trying 20 jury trials and eight bench trials to verdict. In 2025, she relocated to Chicago and transitioned her practice to civil litigation, focusing on insurance defense matters involving construction negligence and medical malpractice claims. Morgan joined The Sotos Law Firm, P.C. in 2026. She currently represents government agencies, law enforcement officers, and prosecutors in state and federal court, defending civil rights and other complex litigation matters.
