Josh received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1992 and his law degree from Loyola University Chicago in 1997. He has been representing law enforcement for over twenty years. While attending law school, Josh began his legal career at the City of Chicago's Corporation Counsel's Office. During his entire tenure with the City of Chicago, Josh worked in trial divisions that focused on representing the City of Chicago and its police department employees in all aspects of civil rights and torts litigation in both federal and state court. Josh achieved the position of Chief Assistant Corporation Counsel and supervised a staff of attorneys as well as represented the City and its officers in wrongful death, reverse conviction, and other high-exposure civil rights cases. Josh has tried civil rights cases in both Illinois state court as well as federal court.
